I've been trying to get the word out this week that the comic is back, so you may have seen my ad flying in some unusual places. If you're a new reader, welcome! And if you're here from Collar 6, I'm sorry there's not more bondage, but hopefully you'll find the comic funny. If you want to help spread the word that TG is back, please grab a graphic from the Link to TG page! I would seriously appreciate it. RELAUNCHED. The prodigal comic has returned. Updates happen every Monday. Life is good. This comic references this particular great man's tale of woe. Although I poke fun, I do feel some compassion for the guy, because judging from the video game reviews and generally geeky stuff he is into, he is of my tribe. New Stuff New Look - Although TG has always been a work in progress, expect to see even more evolution of the art as the weeks go by. Currently the biggest changes are probably the way I draw noses and draw and color hair. I've also changed the frames to reflect that this is not a pretend newspaper comic, and I've switched up the font. I hope these changes will improve the overall comic, and if they don't, I can shitcan them. Update Schedule - We're starting with once a week on Mondays. This is to allow me to get back into practice and also because I have a fulltime job. My goal is to get back up to multiple updates eventually. Ads - After 7 years of doing this comic, it's time for the first ads that actually create revenue for me. It will keep me from having to sell nudie pics of my characters. (It doesn't seem right to charge for that!) If you have a website, comic, Etsy store or anything else, you can get your ad on this site right now for less money than you're likely to find in your couch cushions! Well, wasn't quite sure that would work, given Comic Genesis's updater system. YAY WAITING 13 HOURS FOR A SITE UPDATE. At any rate, I've been playing around with Xtranormal lately, and decided to take a script I had for TG that just didn't work well in comic form and turn it into a video. There is some extremely NSFW language in this one. I'm not sure how often I will be doing this sort of thing, but I am interested in getting more video work done. We'll see! A Treading Ground Update? That is sooooo 2003.TG Update Lately I've been feeling the need to be creative again and produce things. I may be doing more with TG in the near future. For now, I decided to finish a comic I already had partially complete and get it posted. What have I been up to for the last year and a half? Creatively, not a hell of a lot. But recently I contributed writing and art for a video review project a friend of mine recently launched called That SciFi Guy. For the first episode, we suffered through the Star Wars Holiday Special. I highly recommend watching the video, if for no other reason than the fact that it means you don't have to watch the actual special. It's that bad. Out SickI've been out for the count this week.
